Produced and directed/animated by David Parvin for The Animation Partnership.

Originally two separate parts. The pea section was produced over ten years ago using multiple hand drawn matte animations , shot on film using a 35mm rostrum camera. There are over twenty combinations of mattes for any one frame and fifteen passes through camera for the final images. The challenge was to create fresh believable water using animation only and no live action. The leaf section is from a slightly later film in the same series.

This sequence was instrumental in The Animation Partnership winning a prestigious long running account from Hamburg in Germany.
