Produced within a very short schedule, this film uses the distinctive illustration style of Jordi Labadan, a well known designer and illustrator based in Barcelona.

We worked closely at all stages with Jordi to maintain his style throughout . This films illustrates how diverse we sometimes have to be in our ability to faithfully reproduce an already well established style of illustration. Not only does the still image have to be faithful to the original design, but the way it MOVES has to be sympathetic to the design.

Due to the shortness of the schedule, a lot of the imagery for this film was created digitally by our in house maestro, James Butler. Jordi's technique required a coloured trace line and to maintain the flow and character of the line, we decided to hand trace the animators drawings prior to scanning and digital paint. By hand tracing we maintained a more traditional feel to the film.
