For the second year in succession, we were persuaded by Carl Gover of The Animation Partnership, to produce a charity commercial for UNICEF entitled Send a smile, send hope. The basic concept was to sell the Organisations Christmas cards by depicting young children from a variety of ethnic groups - all displaying wonderful smiles. As before, there was next to nothing in the budget - so it meant relying again on favours from everyone involved, including the live-action director, the artistes taking part, the music company, the video-to-film transfer people, |
and of course the laboratories for producing all the cinema prints. It was a great achievement, in a remarkably short time - thanks to the efforts of Chris Bartle, Mcasso Music, Cinesite and Soho Images.
